The RIF is Open for Applications

Business Oregon is pleased to announce a Request for Grant Applications (“RFGA”) for the 2026 Regional Infrastructure Fund. Applicants may choose to pursue Construction Projects or Planning, Research or Design Projects.

For Construction Projects, the minimum award is $100,000 and the maximum award is $1,000,000. For Planning, Research and Design Projects, the minimum award is $25,000 and the maximum award is $250,000.

All projects must align with at least one of the Community and Economic Development Priorities adopted by the local Regional Solutions Advisory Committee, demonstrate readiness and be able to be completed within 24 months.

The below timeline lays out the major milestones of the 2026 funding cycle.

Issuance of Notice of Intent to Award (approximate)	End of October 2026

New funding is available to help Oregon’s small and tribal communities plan and build critical infrastructure. Eligible local governments and federally recognized tribes can apply for planning grants of up to $250,000 or construction grants of up to $1 million.
