Applications Open for McMinnville Businesses Looking to Host Summer 2024 Interns

(McMINNVILLE, OR) – The McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP) has opened its applications for local businesses looking to host interns during the summer as part of their award-winning McMinnville WORKS Internship Program. Each year, MEDP helps connect local businesses with young professionals to fill internship roles during the summer. Internships range from Engineering to Marketing, Data Processing, Research, Project Management, Sustainable Agriculture, and more! Businesses participating in the program are referred to as “Host Sites” and are provided with qualified applicants' resumes and cover letters in the spring to connect with young professionals on their projects.
Host Sites should be willing to host 9+ week-long internships that are full-time, paid, and held during the summer. The ideal internship is project-based and suitable for collegiate-level young professionals looking to gain experience in their area of interest. Interns participating in the program also participate in weekly Professional Development Workshops hosted by MEDP at locations throughout McMinnville, where they can build valuable networks.
