Workforce Integration Network Workforce Development Collaboration with The WIN Team!
Jan 24, 2025
Did you know the Workforce Integrated Network (WIN) meets monthly to strategize and strengthen workforce programs in our region? Launched by MEDP in 2022, WIN brings together nearly 40 representatives from industry, education, and workforce development to tackle shared workforce challenges.
Recent successes include:
- WVMC Medical Internship Program
- LPN/RN Apprenticeship Program (1 of only 5 in Oregon!)
- McMinnville High School Hospitality Pathway (currently the state’s only program of its kind!)
- McMinnville High School Skilled Trades Mentorship Program
- YVCareers Jobs Board and Resource Directory (complimentary to Yamhill Valley)
These programs were made possible through partnerships and with targeted funding efforts, for example, the City of McMinnville’s ARPA Grant.
Get Involved!
WIN invites more industry partners to join the conversation and help shape impactful workforce initiatives. Meetings are hosted at Chemeketa Community College–McMinnville Campus on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Contact Patty Herzog, MEDP - McMinnville Economic Development Partnership, at patty@mcminnvillebusiness.com to attend or learn more. Or call 503-474-6814.
