Assemblage Symposium

The Assemblage Symposium is an annual event aimed at the advancement, education, and empowerment of women and diverse communities in wine. Over two days of programming, attendees will engage in hands-on workshops, seminars, keynote addresses, networking opportunities, peer mentoring, and social hours intended to help improve connections between women in the wine industry and to advance their careers in the business. Though the event programming is aimed at supporting women and those from diverse backgrounds, ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

Symposium content will range from personal growth and career development to current wine industry trends and best business practices. Our 12+ experts from across the country will present on:

• assessing /impacting company culture
• hiring and managing diverse and inclusive teams
• understanding state and federal labor laws
• the crafting of wine marketing and promotional strategy for the next generation of buyers
• issues of gender and racial equity in the wine industry
• generational perspectives on women's involvement in the Oregon wine business
• the achievements of women and diverse people in vineyards and agriculture
• tackling impostor syndrome
• best practices for dealing with workplace conflict, bullying, or abuse
• how to build lasting mentor/mentee relationships
