OMIC: Supply Chain Resiliency

Join us for a workshop hosted at OMIC R&D in Scappoose, Oregon, on Friday, May 30, 2025! 

This event is part of the Rapid Response Marketplace Project sponsored by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and carried out by researchers from Oregon State University, Wayne State University, and the University of Dayton in partnership with MxD, a Manufacturing USA Institute.
 
Themed “Rapid Response for Supply Chain Resiliency,” the workshop will showcase the Rapid Response Marketplace, a platform designed to revolutionize supply chain management through advanced automation. This tool aims to ensure uninterrupted supply during critical infrastructure disruptions and emergency situations. It connects untapped manufacturing capacity to customers in need.

Workshop Highlights:

• Morning Panel featuring experts sharing insights on manufacturing-as-a-service and supply chain resiliency.
• Project Overview & Demonstration of the Rapid Response Marketplace platform.
• Industry Roundtable & User Experience to gather the voice of industry.
• Networking Opportunities with university and industry stakeholders.

While in-person attendance is recommended, we will have an option for remote attendance as well. A tentative agenda is attached.
