Opportunity Zones can deliver significant tax savings on medium to long-term investments in economically disadvantaged communities. This new tax incentive pertains to both the capital gains invested initially through a qualified opportunity fund, as well as capital gains earned for the investor from businesses or projects in a zone.

Fund managers, investors, landowners, project developers and investment advisors who are looking to learn about regional opportunities and network in Yamhill and Polk counties.

John Hancock will discuss his firm's philosophy in partnering with local community planners and economic developers to bring together investors and project developers in maximizing the potential of Opportunity Zones.

 

Mark Stevenson

Mark Stevenson will provide an overview of Craft3’s creative problem solving approach to debt and how debt can work with OpZone investments. As CFO, he

provides oversight of the finance team, contributes to resource development and oversees enterprise wide compliance and risk management.
