Impressionist Art Gallery and Studio to Relocate to McMinnville

Dec 28, 2020

(MCMINNVILLE, OR) - Artist Erin Hanson, is relocating her flagship gallery and studio to the heart of Oregon Wine Country.  She is the leading contemporary impressionist in the United States, and paints in a style known as “Open Impressionism.” Hanson and her team will be opening a studio, gallery, office and production space in the newly constructed industrial condos off of Colvin Court in McMinnville. The build-out of the space is currently underway, with a grand opening reception for the gallery planned for April, 2021.

The 18,000 square foot space in McMinnville’s Industrial District will include in-house manufacturing for books, prints, calendars, 3d prints, as well as canvas stretching and framing.  This relocation will add an estimated 9 jobs to the McMinnville economy.

“After living in the concrete jungle for most of my life, I am excited to escape into the beautiful nature of the Willamette Valley. As an impressionist landscape painter, I have been used to driving for many hours to find scenery that I want to paint, but now the aesthetics of nature will be just outside my front door!  I look forward to getting to know the local members of the community, and I will be inviting my collectors and fans to come experience Oregon wine country.” - Erin Hanson

Scott Cooper, the Executive Director of McMinnville Economic Development Partnership said “It was a pleasure working with Erin and her team, and discussing our City’s potential. We are excited to introduce her and her family to the area.  She is renowned in the art world, and having her choose McMinnville for her new home base is an amazing asset for our community.”
