McMinnville WORKS 2022 

The ninth year of the McMinnville WORKS program has concluded! McMinnville WORKS is a community-built workforce development program and a recent international award recipient (from IEDC) as creators of the Oregon WORKS network.

This summer had great success in workforce development, with several Professional Development workshops focused on building resumes and developing professional networking skills. Eight of our 15 interns are continuing with their host sites as full-time or part-time employees!  This conversion from an intern to an employee is helping to fill some of our workforce needs in the McMinnville community.

In celebration of a great summer, the culmination article highlights the favorite work of each intern! The author of the article, Katy Schmitt, is the MEDP McMinnville WORKS Summer 2022 Internship Program Coordinator and student at Linfield University.
